Although hairy hedge-nettle is rather fuzzy, unpleasant smelling, and bitter-flavored, all parts of the plant are reputed to be edible.

This Chinese brush painting of a pair of lovebirds is Fullen's favorite. This picture was painted in 1990.

 Chinese brush painting is usually mounted on scrolls and some are displayed in frames.

"This is one of our favorite paintings. Many of our Canada Goose friends are mated for life, just like the lovebirds in this picture."

Fullen resides in Malaysia.She began portrait painting in 1990 but that only lasted three months. She resumed portrait painting again in July 2005.

Fullen has participated in group exhibitions and competitions. Three of her Chinese brush paintings received Best Presentation certificates. She has sold a few Chinese brush and water color paintings.
